BART GAVIGAN
Bart is an internationally sought after "scriptdoctor" and his screenwriting
course "The Naked Screenplay" has been translated into numerous languages
(including Arabic and Russian). His creative team at Spark Productions Ltd consults with established European and Hollywood writers and he is an advisor to Robert Redford's Sundance Institute and previously for Equinoxe in Europe. Bart recently won widespread acclaim for his screenplay for the Luther film.
JOHN HEYMAN
John, Executive of World Film Services and award-winning producer, has been responsible for The Passage to India, D.A.R.Y.L., Beyond The Limit and The Go Between and has acted as a consultant on attaching Talent to various Ma-Afrika projects as well as being a co-producer on soon to be produced The Word of a Gentleman, an action adventure film based on the life of David Livingstone.
NORMAN STONE
Having collected a host of National and International awards, including two Emmy's and two BAFTA's, for his television drama work, (Shadowlands, The Black Velvet Gown, Ain't Misbehavin, Tales from the Madhouse), Norman has recently expanded into cinema. His debut feature film, Man Dancing, has already been nominated as Best British Movie of the Year. More are planned to follow.

LINDI NDEBELE
Lindi is a respected South African government official who has in part been responsible for steering the tremendous growth of the South African Film industry. As a minister of the Department of Arts and Culture, Lindi's advice and friendship has proved invaluable to Ma-Afrika Films. She greatly assisted Muntu Ndebele in his recovery from crime, drugs and alcohol abuse.
RON MAXWELL
An internationally renowned writer/director, best known for his landmark film "Gettysburg" hailed as one of the greatest war stories ever and the $85 Million multi-award-winning Gods and Generals. Ron is known to critics and audiences alike for balancing epic entertainment with historical authenticity, a vital ingredient to bringing one of our screenplays, The Word of a Gentleman, to life. Ron was selected as our preferred director. |
